Welcome

NOTE: THIS ENTIRE SITE HAS BEEN IN NEED OF AN UPDATE SINCE 2017. IF YOU'VE FOUND YOURSELF HERE, GOOD JOB! ...AND THE EMAIL CONTACT INFO IS STILL VALID.

Hello! As of November 2016, I am a California resident and research scientist at Stanford University. This marks my return to the USA after an international adventure and postdoctoral research fellowship at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health in Melbourne, Australia. There I used simultaneous electro-encephalograpy (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to study the dynamics of abnormal brain activity in epilepsy patients. Before I relocated to the land of kangaroos, I lived in the concrete jungle of NYC, where I completed my PhD in Biomedical Engineering in November 2013 at Columbia University. My dissertation focused on the use of combined neuro-imaging modalities (EEG-fMRI, EEG-pupillometry) to investigate natural fluctuations of attention in healthy humans, and the work was performed in the Laboratory for Intelligent Imaging and Neural Computing (LIINC) under the advisement of Paul Sajda.

This simple site is intended to give visitors an overview of my research.  Feel free to explore and contact me with your thoughts, questions, or anything else.  Thanks for visiting!
